Zero

Hi all.

Will keep it short and punchy today due to the fact I have a tonne to do with mum coming down for Floriade, going to a good mates wedding, sanding walls to renovate our house, man this stuff just never stops!

Anywho, today report is no change. Nothing, zilch, zip, ZERO. No gain this week but no loss either. So I guess that's better than gaining weight.

Have to work extra hard this week because the weigh in will be taking place on Friday instead of Saturday. I'll be scaleless in Wagga Wagga for uni. Lucky me hey?

No more lazy Jacqui. Time to really get off my sizeable arse and get moving, or I'll never reach my goal.

In Bloom

Well we're well and truly into spring now, even here in Canberra, the sun is out and it's actually not freezing cold this morning. It's actually meant to get to 22 degrees today! Bring it on!

After last weeks gain of 0.4 putting me back up to 112.8 I was feeling a bit, well, blah. All of you were still so supportive of me. You're all making this challenge that bit easier for me. So a big THANKS from me!

On the excercise front...On Fathers day we did a 2.6km walk at Tidbinbilla. It's stunning out there. Canberrans, you should go more often. Non locals, check it out when you visit. Tuesday I worked, but man I moved my arse. I felt like I lost one kilo in one day! Wednesday a 20 minute walk and Thursday more hard labour at work.

We went out to Turkish for dinner last night and I was convinced that it would bring me undone, but, the food was amazing...

So this morning my weekly date with the scales was here. Had I recovered or would I have to put more bad news out there? On the scales I get....112.1. Which is a loss of 700g from last week. So I actually lost the 400g I put on and a further 300g.

This brings my total loss to 3.9kg, which is a little bit behind schedule, but recoverable. Till next week!

No Excuses

Well weigh in day is upon us once again.....

I would really love to tell you that I lost 2kg's this week but in actual fact the BIG BAD has occured. yep, you've guessed it, I've.....(cue dramatic music)...GAINED!

Yep, I've gained weight this week. Not much weight, but a gain is still the opposite of what I'm trying to achieve here.

As the title of this weeks blog says, I'm not going to make excuses for this. I know what went wrong. Too much beer at Ruth's hens last Saturday, which I then did no excersise to burn off, and then too much chinese last night for Rach's birthday, not to mention the chocolate....and the coca cola.

So, what to do from here?? back to my trusty eating plan and my goal for this week is to do 30 minutes excersise at least THREE days. I know 5 is ideal, but three is a great start.

Anywho, for those keeping tally this week was a 0.4kg gain which takes my total loss down to 3.2kg. So not an ideal situation. I've let myself down and I'm a bit bummed about it. Oh well, Onwards and upwards right??
